Chhath Puja has always been more than just a festival for me—it is an emotion, a deep-rooted connection to my heritage as someone from Jharkhand. Growing up, I witnessed the discipline and purity that define this festival, where families come together, offering prayers to the sun, standing knee-deep in water, embodying resilience and devotion. Documenting these moments through my lens was not just about preserving traditions but about reliving my own childhood memories, where every diya, prasad, and arghya carried stories of faith and perseverance. This project is my tribute to Chhath Puja—not just as an observer but as someone whose heart beats with the rhythm of this sacred celebration.
